The LAMMA Show 2017 will see Michelin showcase its new AxioBib 2 agricultural tyre range to farmers and contractors a month ahead of its planned international debut.
Initially available in two dimensions – Very High Flexion (VF) 650/65 R42 and VF 540/65 R30 – the new range has been designed to meet the rising trend for tyres that can carry large loads at lower pressures.
Produced for 160hp to 320hp tractors, the introduction of AxioBib 2 means Michelin’s Ultraflex technology tyre will now be available for all high-horsepower tractors – bridging the gap between the XeoBib (120hp – 180hp) and AxioBib (300+hp) ranges.
Capable of carrying an extra 2,450kg at 65kph than the same size of MultiBib, the VF 650/65 R42 AxioBib 2 tyre is built with the increasing weight of new farm machinery in mind and can operate at up to 70kph.
The new tyres will be exhibited throughout the LAMMA Show at the East of England Showground (18-19 January 2017) on the Michelin stand G33.
