Supplying everything from decking, fencing, fertilisers, organic fertilisers, decorative stones, paving, gates, garden and farm equipment, home fuel, equestrian and animal health products to animal feed and pet accessories, White’s Agri in Lusk, Co. Dublin is much more than a farm supply store.
Established in 1992 by managing director Pat White, White’s Agri has grown to become one of the largest independent agri merchants in the greater Dublin area. Over the past decade, the family-run business has diversified greatly to carry a comprehensive range of amenity / garden products for the landscaper, green keeper and garden enthusiast.
Recently, White’s Agri carried out an extensive refurbishment of their premises and introduced a second floor to their shop area. The new upstairs showroom consists of a display area for garden fence panels and decking as well as general hardware, garden supplies, an equestrian range and other products. The refurbishment means White’s Agri can now display all products for sale under the one roof and in a functional and safe manner.
In addition, White’s offers a farm contractor service and grow approximately 1,000 acres of cereals, including winter barley, spring barley, winter oil seed rape and winter wheat, as well as 100 acres of potatoes, on the family farm. The farm is run by Pat’s son, Barry, who is also a director in the farm supplies business.
“White’s Agri grew out of the family farm,” Barry explains.
“We are one the largest privately-owned agri supply stores in the country. Everything you need for the farm can be found under our roof. We offer a quality, value-for-money and friendly service and are on first-name terms with many of our customers.
“We can offer advice to customers and are easy to find. Lusk is only 14 miles from Dublin city centre and is just a stone’s throw away from the M1. We have a very good working relationship with both our suppliers and customers.”
Among the farm-related products in stock are seeds, fertilisers, organic fertilisers, feeds, sprays and fencing. White’s Agri is the sole importer for OSMO organic and organic-mineral fertilisers. Synonymous with environmentally friendly gardening, OSMO manufactures 100 per cent organic fertilisers and organic mineral fertilisers in powder, pellets or dustproof crumbs.
White’s Agri supplies a wide range of animal feeds, including Bluegrass and Red Mills Horse Feed, Lakeland Beef, Lamb and Calf Feed, Red Mills Dog Food and all the leading poultry and game food brands.
