Two Cork-based agricultural tyre dealers – O’Hanlon’s Tyres in Millstreet and Rathcormac Tyres – have been appointed by Michelin to its Exelagri European dealer network. In Northern Ireland, JB Tyres of Magherafelt has also been appointed.
Formed in 2004, the Exelagri network has grown to 770 certified outlets with the three Irish appointments forming part of a plan by Michelin to expand it to 1,000 outlets by 2024.
With four in every 10 farm tyres currently being supplied through an Exelagri dealer, Michelin also plans to increase its 38 percent share of Europe’s agricultural tyre market to 50 percent within the same period.
