21 Jan , 2026

Synonymous with quality, Tyrone Trailers has quickly established itself as one of Ireland’s premier trailer manufacturers. With a nationwide dealership network and an ever-expanding export market, it continues to go from strength to strength.

Founded in 2018 by Declan McMoran and Colin McCuskey, and located in the engineering hub of Co. Tyrone, Tyrone Trailers is an innovative manufacturer of custom-built trailer solutions to the agricultural and commercial industries across Ireland, the UK and worldwide. It has grown to employ 24 people at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Coalisland on the shores of Lough Neagh.

With experience spanning over 40 years in trailer-crafting, the company’s mission is to ensure that each and every one of its high-performance trailers have been engineered to outperform and outlast any other trailer on the market, enduring thousands of miles whilst guaranteeing the best possible return on investment.

With innovation at the fore, driven by quality and commitment, Tyrone Trailers prides itself on offering game-changing trailer manufacturing solutions, custom-engineered to meet the most demanding requirements, built by a highly-experienced team to ensure a superior product. Understanding the value of a job well done, the manufacturer offers a range of innovative trailer solutions using industry-leading components and advanced manufacturing techniques to produce highly-specialised, fit-for-purpose trailers.

Constantly striving for improvement, the company continues to work hard and smart, and to listen to its customers, in order to deliver the best trailers in Ireland.

“We offer a top-end product at a middle of the road price,” Tyrone Trailers sales manager Kevin McSorley says.

“We design, engineer and manufacture a wide range of high-quality, bespoke trailers for the agri contracting, farming and construction sectors. We’re currently making 300 units a year, all of which come with a 12-month warranty. The quality and durability of our trailers is second to none.”

Tyrone Trailers offers an exceptional range of low-loader, multi-purpose, bale and flatbed, dump, tipping and forestry trailers in addition to fuel bowsers. Innovative design combined with superior materials and techniques has enabled it to produce a range of revolutionary low-loader trailers guaranteed to outperform all others.

A jack-of-all trailers, the multi-purpose has been built with strength, endurance and multi-function for the end user in mind. Similarly, Tyrone Trailers’ strong and versatile tandem and tri-axle and flatbed trailers provide maximum strength, endurance and reliability.

Boasting enormous strength and build, the manufacturer’s HERCULEAN™ dump trailers undertake the most mammoth of tasks with ease. Built for the toughest of challenges in demanding Nordic weather conditions, the Timbr™ trailer has been developed on the foundations of excellent steel quality and engineering capability, meaning these high-capacity and robust trailers are serious bits of kit when it comes to arduous forestry environments.

“Low loader, multi-purpose and bale / flatbed trailers are our most in-demand products,” Kevin explains.

“The low loaders are available in 12, 19, 21, 27, 30 and 33 tonnes. The dump trailers come in 12, 14, 16 and 20 tonnes, while the multi-purpose trailers are available in 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 tonnes. Our 990-litre Turismo™ fuel bowsers, which have diesel and AdBlue options, are also extremely popular.”

Key to Tyrone Trailers’ rapid growth and success is its nationwide dealer network and burgeoning overseas market.

“Everything we sell is through our dealers, namely Meath Farm Machinery in Navan, Cavan and Dundalk, McGinty Tractors in Donegal, MDE Agri Parts in Kesh, Co. Fermanagh, DS Logan in Cullybackey, Co. Antrim, Chris Brogan Tractors in Tuam, Co. Galway, Gary Brogan Tractor Sales in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick and Niall Brogan Tractors in Duncormick, Co. Wexford. We enjoy an excellent relationship with each of them.

“We started exporting in 2020 and it now accounts for 60% of our business. Our main markets are Ireland, the UK, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Latvia, Canada and New Zealand.”

Kevin continues: “Only the best components and materials go into making our trailers. We source top-end quality components from both Irish and UK suppliers. These include axles and suspensions from Granning’s in Naas and Distag in Tullow. Every trailer is fully shot blasted before the paint is applied. There is a range of different colours to choose from and we won’t be beaten when it comes to aftersales service.

“Our people are our greatest asset. They know the business and how to work with steel. That goes back to us coming from an area stepped in engineering. We are one of several companies supplying the agri, construction and quarrying industries located here.”

No other company will give you the same level of service and manufacturing quality as Tyrone Trailers does. Tough, durable and reliable, Tyrone Trailers would like to take this opportunity to thank its suppliers, dealers and customers for their continued support as well as its dedicated team for their hard work and expertise.
