Huge range of launches & products at the Q8 Oils Spring Farm & Construction Machinery Show

This week saw the  Q8 Oils Spring Farm and Construction Machinery Show at the prestigious Eikon Arena which as well as having all you would expect to see at this comprehensive event feature a number of launches and products plus new companies who have not previously exhibited.

Amongst these is the New New Holland T7 Series tractor which made its debut on the Burkes of Cornascriebe stand. This was the first public viewing of this new generation tractor at any show in Northern Ireland. Other launches included 3 new Kuhn Models which were on show on the DS Logan stand and Slurry Kat introduced  their new Panterra range of Slurry Tankers. Moore Unidrill  exhibited  their new Horsch Express KR one pass drill and Spray Sure introduced  2 new crop sprayers to their range the Alpha and the Arian.  McMullen Tractors showcased their new range of 3 6c models in the Landini Range and Wolfhound Vehicles had on show their Road Legal Quadix Trooper 800 model which can generate a top speed of 25 miles per hour.

Classit Beecher unveiled their new FIRETRACE Automatic Fire Suppression Systems for installation in engine bays of all mobile and stationary plant and machinery and G G Plant Sales exhibited a range of equipment from Woods, Predator and Kane.

Other brand new exhibitors at this event included  All Spares, Alan Dunlop Agricultural Machinery, All Tech Renewables, Ballyward Plant Spares, Country Side Services,, Dunnes Farm Store and more, Errigal Plant & Sales, Fane Valley, Farm Strong, Ion Body Armour, KES Solar, M Large Tree Services Ltd, MC Services, Mr T’s Printing, Murphy Bros (Ferns Ltd), Muddy Models, Natural Nutrition, NIE, Northern Farm Supplies, Sole mates, Tim Montgomery Farm Supplies. The Farm Families Health Check Bus who were in attendance to provide free health checks.

“We had a  huge turnout over the 2 days” organiser Andrew Short told this publication. “Scores of products and services were  profiled at this event all in one prestigious venue where real business can be done”. Making this the largest ever Q8 Oils Spring Farm & Construction Machinery Show since its inception.  At this year’s show visitors weree able to see, touch and learn about the future of farming and construction all in heated halls at a time of year when farmers and contractors are keen to stock up for the busy season ahead and embrace new ideas.

The show will be back next year with the addition of another hall in order to meet exhibitor demand
