Tom Lynch aged 3 from Kilskyre has being diagnosed with a condition called Hypotonia and Global Development Delay (GDD). Tom has low muscle tone that reduces muscle strength. It is the aim of the committee behind Tom’s Walking Wish to provide Tom with every opportunity to walk.
This requires extensive and prolonged therapy carried out in a private clinic in Limerick, under the auspices of the well known consultant Dr. Senthilkumar Periyasamy. The intensive treatment will be ongoing and will entail intense therapy with his mum Nikki having to stay with Tom in Limerick.
The aim of Tom’s Walking Wish is to raise as much funds as possible so as to help Tom receive the best possible treatment available.
The convoy took the scenic route to Munterconnacht in Co. Cavan and made its way back to Crossakiel where light refreshments was served. So far a very impressive total of €6,500 has been raised from the Run.
