Trimble have announced that MagGrow has been chosen as a Trimble Select Partner for agriculture. As a Trimble Select Partner, MagGrow’s innovative spraying technology will be available through the Trimble Dealer and VantageTM distribution networks. The announcement was made at the National Farm Machinery and World Ag Expo.
MagGrow focuses on sustainable food production and helps farmers grow more by using less. The MagGrow system is a patented, proprietary technology for droplet formation that yields superior spray drift-reduction and spray coverage performance. MagGrow technology is currently offered as a retrofit kit for self-propelled and pull behind spraying booms of any size, is brand agnostic and has very low maintenance. The system has no moving parts and is easy to install. Using the MagGrow system as compared to traditional spraying systems, growers can reduce spraying drift by up to 70 percent and improve coverage by up to 40 percent.
Trimble’s Select Partner Program for Agriculture
Trimble Select is a new initiative that enables approved third-party original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to offer their products and services through Trimble’s agriculture distribution channels. Using the program, Trimble dealers can leverage a portfolio of technologies, which are complementary to Trimble, that allow them to offer an even broader range of precision agriculture solutions to their customers. Trimble chooses partners based on criteria such as field-proven technology, innovation, compatibility with a broad range of manufacturers’ brands, customer support excellence and global capabilities.
“We are truly excited to be chosen as a Trimble Select Partner and associated with a strong recognized brand,” said Gary Wickham, CEO of MagGrow.
“Our team realized that in order to scale our business in a timely manner, we needed to find an established partner with a comprehensive worldwide distribution channel—and Trimble’s Select Partner program is ideal.”
“MagGrow’s state-of-the-art products align with Trimble’s mission of providing growers with precision agriculture technology that helps reduce cost, improve yield and protect the environment. Our Trimble Dealer and Vantage distribution networks represent some of the world’s leading precision technology experts and will provide a great avenue to get MagGrow’s products into the hands of growers worldwide,” said Kevin Barkow, manager of Strategic Projects, Trimble’s Agriculture Division. “We are excited to have MagGrow join our growing network of Trimble Select Partners.”
