A long-established business, Loane Agri Contractors is family run and specialises in all aspects of agricultural contracting.
Their services are tailored to their customers specific needs, and because of their broad ranging expertise, they are able to take care of all your requirements, saving you time and expense.
Having a wealth of experience and knowledge of the agricultural sector, you can be rest assured that all work will be completed to the high standard you expect.
At very competitive rates, their wide range of contracting services include slurrying, digging, silage cutting, reseeding, hedge cutting, sub-soiling and land management.
Started from humble beginnings 36 years ago, Loane Agri Contractors has survived the test of time and continues to operate to the highest standards. To this day the business has matured to offer a whole range of agricultural services and operations to meet the needs of the progressive landowner and farmer.
“I worked with a contractor before setting up on my own in 1980,” Wilfred Loane answered when asked to trace the roots of the business. “My son Neil then joined me when he left school and we currently have an additional two full-time employees as well as three part-time employees.”
Loane Agri’s workload brings them to Ballygawley, Omagh, Cookstown, Dungannon and Aughnacloy and Caledon and they boast a long list of satisfied customers which numbers approximately 80.
Their name is synonymous with high quality work in local agricultural circles and they are renowned for reliability when it comes to providing a complete service to fully support the farmer throughout the year.
The continued growth of the company can be attributed to their policy of always putting the customer first and providing an excellent service.
Crucially, they turn up when promised on an agreed date and time.
With weather patterns constantly changing and customers eager to manage their costs, the Loane’s aim to provide a cost-effective and punctual service to remove any stress from their customers’ farming operations.
They get much of their work through customer recommendations which is a testament to their high standards.
“We’re lucky to have a loyal customer base and we’ve been working with many of them for the last 10 to 15 years,” Wilfred explained.
“We take particular pride in our slurry and silage cutting services and reliability is key in this business. When a farmer is looking to get a job done he doesn’t want any time wasted. Our customers all seem to be quite happy with the quality of our work.”
He added: “The weather is obviously the main challenge in this game but we are busy really the whole year around and that has always been the case.”
The Tyrone-based outfit has a policy of continuous investment and maintenance in their machinery and equipment. This ensures that their equipment is constantly maintained and in good and safe operational condition.
Their major machinery and plant includes seven New Holland tractors, a Claas harvester, five Kane trailers, slurry tankers, diggers, rakes and mowers along with a vast array of associated machinery.
Although they are well-known for providing high quality services to the local farming community, Loane Agri Contractors are continuously striving to incorporate improvements.
They ensure that the services they provide meet or exceed their customers expectations and comply with farming best practices. No job has ever been considered too big or too small and, since the inception of the business, every job has been given the priority it deserved.
