Major have announced that from May 2016 they are an Intermediate Partner with the GCSAI, to support their ongoing commitment to the Education and Continuous Professional Development of Sportsturf Professionals in Ireland

As our latest Intermediate Partner, Major Equipment are sending out a clear message that they suuport the future of our members and our industry.”
Commenting on the announcement, Martin Walsh, Sales Manager with Major Equipment said: “We are really pleased to be on-board with the GCSAI. The education and training programme run by the GCSAI for groundsmen, greenkeepers and golf course superintendents, is impressive and we are delighted to be involved.”
Major Equipment Intl. Ltd. manufactures a range of tractor mounted mowers in working widths from 1.9m to 6.1m in trailed, front mounted and three point linkage configurations. The company is the only Irish manufacturer of machinery to the amenity industry in Ireland.
70% of the machines produced by Major Equipment Intl. Ltd. are exported. “We have customers in sports clubs and golf clubs in countries as far away as Australia,” explained Martin. “But we are particularly proud of the relationships we’ve built with GAA clubs and golf clubs in our home country.”
