Be All Agri Ltd has grown to become a leading specialist manufacturer of agricultural products and tractor drawn units since its inception two years ago. Irish Tractor spoke to company manager Mark Hall to learn about its rapid success.
Sometimes patience is the name of the game when it comes to running a successful business. For Mark Hall, that has certainly proved the case with Be All Agri Ltd as they are now well and truly up and running after their early endeavours.
Based on the Killadeas road in Lisnarick, Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh, Be All Agri has established itself as a local specialist manufacturer of agricultural products and tractor drawn units.
“We’re here two years and we’ve seven employed full-time,” explained company manager Mark Hall.
“My position is manager and George Beattie would be the owner and financer of the company, so he’s the boss here. It was a collaboration of George and myself. My background had been in engineering and I sort of run that end of it here while George finances it.”
George entrusted Mark with the running of the business on the engineering end and since they started out things have grown from strength to strength within the company, with their products on demand throughout Europe.
When it comes to trailers and tractor implements, Be All Agri can provide the ultimate solution for your agricultural needs. Whether it’s a standard build or tailor made to your specification they have the expertise and knowledge to match your requirements with the right product.
With over 20 years of experience in the trade, Mark and co pride themselves in the use of high quality components and materials. All products are finished to an extremely high standard using the latest techniques and technological advancements.
As well as stocking a wide range of steel products such as Box Sections, H-Irons, Flat Plates and Channel, they also carry out MIG wielding, CNC machining and CNC profiling.
Be All Agri also export to the rest of Ireland and UK mainland, as well as further afield.
“We manufacture trailers for tractors,” explained Mark. “At the moment we are very busy and the hard work that we’ve done to start up the company two years ago is really starting to pay off for us now.
“The main thing we would be doing here would be low loaders, bulk blowers and wood chip blowers – that would be the newest thing we have on the market.”
“We are sending stuff across the continent – to Finland and Hungary. That’s all on our website for our customers to look at and that’s how they would contact us,” he added.
The products on offer at Be All Agri range from low-loader trailers to weed lickers.
The RSA Compliant Low-Loader is one of the most popular products they have on the market, as explained on beallagri.com: “Here at Beall it is important to us that every trailer we build is compliant with all legal and regulatory bodies, as such all trailers we produce will meet or exceed the new standards set out by the Road Safety Authority (RSA).
“New national trailer weight limits will be among a number of new vehicle standards which will take effect for agricultural vehicles from 2016 and will also include braking, lighting and visibility among others.
“Our new model low loader was the first trailer we produced to meet the specific standards for 2016, any trailer leaving our facility will meet these regulations and anymore which may follow.”
Bulk blowing trailers are another feature of the company’s and are used for cereals, livestock feed, sawdust, wood chip and wood pellets. Standard features include high speed axles, multi-leaf high rock suspension, high tensile box section chassis, LED lights, radial tyres, a sprung draw bar, an EN16 towing eye and air brakes.
Optional extras for the trailers include parabolic suspension, tyre options, LED flashers, a hydraulic tail door and ABS brakes.
Be All Agri’s multi task low loader is a unique new design for the agricultural market. The trailer is 8m (26′) in its closed position and 11m (36′) in its open position. It is ideal to carry compact heavy loads such as diggers in its closed position as it is very easy to find the balance point for the load as the bed is a similar length to the load. When extended it is then very suitable to carry bulky loads such as forage bales or an extra machine such as a site dumper.
Standard features for the low loader include high-speed axles, commercial, parabolic suspension, road going commercial tyres, LED lights, hydraulic ramps, EN16 towing eye, 50mm imported pressure treated timber floor and load sensing valve.
Silage trailers are also available from 10ton up to 20ton, with high speed axles, radial tyres, load sensing and Domex steel floors as standard.
All of Be All Agri’s products can been viewed at the many shows they attend throughout the year, the biggest of which is the National Ploughing Championships.
In September of last year, Beall Agri attended Europe’s largest Outdoor Exhibition and Agricultural Trade Show, The National Ploughing Championships from the 23rd to 25th at Ratheniska, Stradbally, Co Laois.
The championship attracts on average 1,350 exhibitors and over 200,000 visitors annually and is regarded as the best ploughing show in Ireland and according to Mark, the event proved a huge success from Be All Agri’s perspective, gaining them new customers. He hopes that this year’s championships will see a similar outcome.
“The National Ploughing Championships is a big one for us every year,” he said. “We got another good response from it this year and we work as hard as we can to promote our products to customers. We do the Hyland Show in Scotland and the Enniskillen show as well, so we’re kept busy at them.
“The work we’ve done is really beginning to pay off for us now. It has been serious hard work but it’s proving to be worth it.”
As for 2015, Mark is hoping for more and more progress for the company.
“We want to sustain growth for now and expand down the line,” he concluded.
