Farm and construction machinery distributors, McHale Plant Sales of Birdhill, has appointed Gerry Rabbitte sales representative countrywide for Zetor tractors and Merlo telehandlers.
From Athenry, Gerry will be based at the company’s new offices on the Greenogue Industrial Estate, Rathcoole.
No stranger to the GAA, Gerry’s family background is steeped in hurling history. Coupled with having played for the Galway minors himself in the mid-1980s, he is the brother of well-known former Galway senior hurling star – and twice an All Star winner – Joe Rabbitte.
In his new role, Gerry brings extensive experience in farm machinery sales, having previously represented most of the leading tractor and farm machinery brands, here and overseas, including work in the farm commodities and agricultural co-op sectors.
