“I’ve a good understanding of what our customers need and demand. During the summer months when they are at their peak, breakdowns do occur, but it is how quickly that they get back up and running that is the important thing,” stated Kenneth. “That is why we have service vans here that will attend a breakdown anywhere in the country if needed. We have a huge range of parts available to us and we can get them out to the customer as quickly as possible.”

“We stock a wide range of machinery, both new and second hand. The service department is one of the busiest areas for us as our experienced mechanics have an excellent reputation for getting the job done efficiently and quickly. Our workshop carries out repairs and maintenance and staffed by fully qualified personnel. Service vans are equipped to provide breakdown maintenance in the field,” said Kenneth.

“With increasing sales our stores department has grown accordingly. It now forms a vital part of our service to the farming community. We carry an extensive range of parts to support counter and service demands.”

Kenneth admits that the success of the business is partly down to a dedicated staff who are experienced in their fields of expertise.

“Most of the staff have been with us years and are very experienced. There are seven people employed here in total and commitment to our customers is our main priority.”

Kenneth’s wife Siobhan assists with the administration side of the business as the customer base continues to grow, with sales being made to people in Limerick, Clare, Cork and north Kerry.

Kenneth added that he has full trust in the products that he is selling, which are of the highest quality.

“All products are of a high quality. They have to be as our customers wouldn’t accept anything less. We have made a reputation for ourselves selling quality products and we must maintain that. Our Hauer range of front loaders are of the highest quality and they are a popular brand.

”Repeat custom is a massive part of the retail sales trade and to ensure that people come back through their doors; dealers have to go that extra mile to make their customers feel welcome.

“We would have a lot of repeat custom and many of our customers are with us for years. They have been very loyal and our aim is to continue providing them with the quality of service that they have become accustomed too.”
