“We’re a straight forward company and that’s an honest appraisal,” he added. “We’re not claiming to be the best or the worst. All we are claiming is that we are a viable company, employing lads and giving them a viable wage. There’s companies out there at the minute who use and abuse lads but we’re trying to be sustainable looking ahead to the future and grow what we have here.”
When asked to elaborate on that point, Francis replied: “At the end of the day, it’s frustrating for fellas like myself who have invested a huge amount of money in training and health and safety. In this country, if you’re a legit company you don’t always get the rewards.
“I understand this business, I understand the resources and equipment that is required to complete any given job. I price jobs accordingly but there are some contractors out there who are working under the radar and that is frustrating.”
All of Treepro’s staff are trained and NPTC certified to the highest standard. Each operator is specifically trained to perform their certified task to the highest industry standard, following best working practices.

“I would be optimistic about the future,” Francies outlined. “It’s a good business to be in and there is room for this business to be developed big time in this country. There’s a cross section of contractors out there, some good, some not so good, but the industry hasn’t really found its legs in this country yet.”
