Zetor, Merlo and Komatsu share stage at Ploughing Championships

22 Aug , 2016

Zetor, Merlo and Komatsu distributor, McHale Plant Sales of Birdhill and Rathcoole, will be promoting the diverse, one-stop nature of their product offering on their stand at the forthcoming National Ploughing Championships.

On show will be the new 160hp, six-cylinder, heavy-duty Zetor Crystal in a line-up likely also to include a Forterra 150HD, Proxima 120 and Major 80.

The distinctive green-liveried Merlo telehandler display will feature three models now making their way into contractors’ inventories in increasing numbers – the Turbofarmer TF42.7, Panoramic P40.17 Plus and a Panoramic P32.6 Plus

From Komatsu, models on show will include their WA320-7 wheel loader – a unit that has been proving itself with contractors in recent years. Other Komatsu exhibits likely to catch the eye of those involved in drainage, site preparation, groundworks and other remedial tasks around the farm are units from their excavator fleet – typically their PC170LC-10 and PC138US-10 heavy duty diggers plus a PC80MR-3, 55MR-3 and 30MR-3 from their midi and mini digger series.

Commenting, McHale Plant Sales general manager Denis McGrath says “we will have something of interest to everyone with personnel on hand to discuss every option from renting to leasing to buying.”
